Town Hall hours

Due to the Corona-virus Pandemic and Executive Order 202.4

Governor Cuomo has decreed that all local municipalities limit exposure, and non essential employees, work remotely, if possible.

Therefore, the Town Hall will be open, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, normal business hours, please wear a mask and if there is more than 1 person in the office, please wait in the foyer or outside.

Please note the Governor has closed courts indefinitely.

TVCSD BUDGET & SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER VOTE

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A BALLOT : SEE BELOW!

“This year’s school budget vote and board of education election will take place June 9, exclusively by absentee ballot due to the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5 pm on June 9, 2020 in order to be counted.

Absentee ballots will be automatically sent to anyone registered to vote in the Tri-Valley Central School District.

In addition, any “qualified voter” in the District may request an absentee ballot, and receive one upon request, without being registered to vote in the District. To request a ballot email absenteeballot2020@trivalleycsd.org.

If there are any new registrations, those persons should also receive an absentee ballot.”

Please note the Governor has closed courts thru May 30th, 2020.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS for TVCSD Budget Vote

From the legal notice published in the  TV Townsman:

“PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that in accordance with Section 2018-a of the Education Law, applications for ABSENTEE BALLOTS may be applied for at the office of the District Clerk. Absentee ballots must be applied for unless the voter’s registration is marked “permanently disabled” by the County Board of Elections. Such applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the absentee ballot is to be mailed to the voter (Tuesday, May 12th, 2020) OR the day before the election (Monday, May 18th, 2020), if the ballot is to be picked up personally by the voter. Absentee ballots must be received in the Office of the District Clerk not later than 5:00 P.M. on the day of the annual meeting. A list of all persons to whom absentee ballots have been issued shall be available for public inspection during regular office hours (9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.) until the day of the election. Any qualified voter may file a written challenge of the qualifications of a voter, whose name appears on such list, stating the reasons for the challenge.”
